Many faces of the Sea of Galilee

Lake Kinneret or Sea of Galilee is one of the unique beauties of Northern Israel . Located at 214 metres (702 ft) below sea level, Kinneret the lowest freshwater lake on Earth and the second-lowest lake in the world , Dead Sea being first  . Some of the famous sites of the past are found around the Sea of Galilee . Some of the Ancient Roman glass pieces are unearthed there . We will explore this topic later , when there will be ennough of quality pictures to support the story

Lake Kinneret is known , beside other things , for its ever changing appearance . We took advantage of being able to look at this miracle everyday and posted some pictures , taken during the winter of 2010 - 2011 .
