Many faces of the Sea of Galilee

Lake Kinneret or Sea of Galilee is one of the unique beauties of Northern Israel. Located at 214 meters (702 ft) below sea level, Kinneret the lowest freshwater lake on Earth and the second-lowest lake in the world, the Dead Sea being first. Some of the famous sites of the past are found in the area surrounding the Sea of Galilee. Some of the Ancient Roman glass pieces are unearthed there. We will explore this topic later when there will be enough of quality pictures to support the story

Lake Kinneret is known, among other things, for its ever-changing appearance. We took advantage of being able to look at this miracle every day and posted some pictures, taken during the winter of 2010 - 2018.

Hope you will enjoy it and will be curious enough to take a trip to see it with your own eyes.
